Kent said y'all played for about 45 minutes, and it went well. Wish I could have been there to hear!

Did anyone come up after, and say: "I must have you on the soundtrack of my new blockbuster! I was gonna hire Aerosmith - but listening to you, I see the light, and realize that Aerosmith has sold its collective soul to Bruckheimer, and has lost all musical credibility!"?

Or, barring that, did anyone hook up with a hot indie actress chick?

No, but a bunch of PETA activists tried to beat us up because the Theremin was causing hearing damage all the Toy Dogs that the Celebrities were taking with them to the movies < ouch >.

Oh, I think we had our regular reaction, polarizing the crowd, with a small number of people interested enough in the novelty of the band to ask questions. I doubt a movie score is on the horizon for us ( yet ).

In our rehearsals, when we jam, we usually play a particular idea for a long period of time and let it develop at a relatively slow pace. I notice that when we play live, I have a tendancy to rush through Ideas quicker, expecting others to be more attention deficit than I am with our music. I suppose I should practice more like how I would play live. I was surprised when we on our 4th song, and we were had used up our time.

I think I just tried too many things because I wasn't really relaxed.

Thanks for asking though. If there are any good bits and pieces from the media capture, we will post them.

Unfortunately Jessica Simpson was not in the audience and therefore she didn't take me to her hotel room and.... oh nevermind.

The gig was fun. I doubt there were any movie people in the audience and the act before us scared the good looking chicks out. No big deal though. We'd have scared them out anyway. The best reaction the band had was at the snowy bus stop waiting for the shuttle to get us out of town. We were showing our "instruments" to hot women from Brooklyn.

Gigs are a different animal for sure, especially with ZTS. I had fun, played fairly ok except for the few notes that just seemed to come out of my ass instead of my brain. Kent and Matt kicked ass. We were rusty but we pulled it together.

It's good for the band to have some gigs which forces us to do some different things. It also makes it more interesting to see the outside world as opposed to "the studio."

It still remains to be seen if we sound better playing written material or just making shit up on the spot...
