Sounds like the release date for the next Naked April album. Kent's a busy guy. (The release date for the next Rytting/Bennett/"Side B" project is a bit more nebulous: if I were to bet on it, I'd say sometime between Summer 2007 and the end of the decade.)

Hopefully not! I hope we aren't releasing an album when that late that has a song called 40 on it.

Could you translate that to English please?

Sorry, the song 40 was written when we were - uh forty.

If it takes us that long to get a CD out, forty will be too old. But not really. I know a band called "Spazz" that took that long to get their music released on CD.

So, forget what I said.

Weirdly enough, the first time playing the song "Forty" with an audience present was at Kent's 40th birthday party, with ZTS playing it. When the four of us started jamming, that was the first piece Kent and I started playing, on acoustic guitars (we came up with the guts of the song the night before, after a memorable sushi-and-sake adventure).

I distinctly remember really digging what Matt came up with (on the spur of the moment, of course) on the theremin for that piece (just as I remember Tony's zendrum adding a lot to the other new piece we had started the night before, "Regret").
